ANSA: Nancy Thompson

Welcome everyone to another week of ANSA (Authors Not-So Anonymous)!  This week it is my pleasure to introduce Nancy Thompson.

Nancy Thompson is a suspense/romance fiction author.  "They're rather dark and emotional and have a bit of violence, but it's never gratuitous.  My books have strong themes.  The Mistaken, for example, is all about forgiveness and acceptance."  She began writing in March 2010 with her debut novel The Mistaken.  Her novels have been published by a new small press called Sapphire Star Publishing.

She currently lives with her husband, son and their two pets in the western part of Washington.  "I've been with the same guy for 30 years and married for 22.  We have one son who's currently attending college.  I have a giant snow dog, Jack, and a new kitty named Skye.  I love to cook, play the piano, watch movies, and travel, but if I could, I'd spend my days reading.  I'm an interior designer by trade, and have operated my own company for the last 16 years.  But most recently, I took a position with my publisher as a book editor, which keeps me very busy when I'm not writing my own stuff."

Nancy's debut novel The Mistaken released in Fall of 2012.  She is currently working on the sequel titled Leverage "It's about a man who turns to vengeance following the death of his pregnant wife, but his poor judgment leads him to do unspeakable things that put he and his his brother's lives in serious jeopardyI'm now working on the sequel, titled Leverage.  Once again, it's all about revenge and how far people will go for personal justice and to protect those they love, but this time, the tables are turned."

Review Day: All About Me

It's Review Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Title: All About Me - A Journey to the Inside
Author: Elvie Dell
My Rating: 3.5 stars

** This novel is for the Christian's out there.**

Book Blurb:
This book is for born-again Christian believers who find themselves frustrated and confused with internal battles and silently ask themselves, "What's wrong with me? Everyone else seems to have it all together." The key word is seems! There is a rest for God's people! II Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if we are in Christ, we are a new creature, old things have passed away and all things have become new. If you're still struggling with a lot of "old" in you, this may be the insight you long for. Being saved doesn't mean an instant personality make-over. The new creature this scripture refers to is our spirit man. We are a 3-part being: spirit, soul, and body. Gaining a better understanding of ourselves and learning to differentiate between the three helps bring us peace. As people begin to recognize where their struggles really lie, and how to hear from their spirits, they find peace in the knowledge of what's normal and common to us all as part of the human experience. Learning to walk out this new found freedom is a fascinating journey. We can rest in the assurance that God has a good plan for our lives.
